I’ve always loved making images. Most of them start as pencil drawings on paper but usually end up digital at some point. Some of them start digitally in a camera and often I combine both approaches.
I’m always happy to hear from you – feel free to leave your comments here, many thanks!

Mr. Rogers,
I happily found your website today, while looking for some Pigeon Street stuff.
Pigeon Street was my favourite series during my early childhood.
It was aired in Brazil, where I live, during the early 90’s and it is a childhood jewel!
I just want to thank you for your incredible talent and for being part of my best childhood memories! I’m now 30 years old and the Pigeon Street still lives in my heart. Thank you!
We met today at Childwickbury – I was the scary lady who burst into tears whilst getting emotional and nostalgic about Pigeon Street. Sorry about that. 🙂 Pigeon Street was a big part of my childhood as my Grandad was a pigeon fancier and I often spent afternoons driving around the country with crates of pigeons, just like Bob on his scooter! Ahh the memories. Just wanted to say that it was an honour to meet you. All the best, Hayley <
Hi Phyl, While childrens animation has been my main thing, I have over the years done many books. Most are now out of print. The unfortunate side effect of a long career! My “Little Giants” series is my favourite. They are still published in the USA but you can often get copies here on eBay. Search for Little Giants – Red Rhino, Green Bear, Yellow Hippo, Blue Tortoise. Sorry I can’t offer a simpler route. Thanks for your interest. Best Wishes Alan (Rogers)
Dear Alan,
I have followed your career keenly since your early involvement with the Bod series. Your style and humour is unique and endlessly fascinating. Your work has brought joy and pleasure to so many. I believe your more recent digital art work is stunning and I urge all to take a look at these pieces. I am now a proud owner of one of your originals, the Piano Player, which is proudly on show in my living room. Congratulations on a long career of excellence. I look forward to more great work from you in the future.

Dear Alan,
I bought the Pigeon Street remastered DVD last week. Our four kids (aging from 2-9) all absolutely love it. They’re always singing the songs, they can recall all the stories, know all the characters. My two year old has even learned her letters M and P from Molly and Polly’s jumpers. It’s just brilliant. There are so few shows that appeal to such a wide age range. Thanks so much for making so much effort on restoring the old episodes. If you ever decide to take on restoring Rub-A-Dub-Dub then you’ll definitely have a happy customer here! Thanks again!
